Rachel Pine
Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), an independent platform for dialogue and research, announces today that Rachel Pine has joined as head of meetings, and as such a member of the senior team.
Rachel Pine, a US citizen, has been working in financial media for 15 years, most recently at Responsible Investor, an online news and events service covering sustainable finance for asset owners and investors.
Pine said: ‘I am enormously pleased to be joining this forward-looking, prestigious organisation and am keen to contribute to the success of OMFIF’.
Rachel Pine was previously the director of events at Responsible Investor. Prior to that she worked for the FT’s conference division and CNBC. Pine’s media career started at CNN where she worked in international sales. She continued at Miramax Films in publicity and marketing. Pine is the author of a novel The Twins of Tribeca and has had short stories published in various collections.
Pine’s appointment reflects OMFIF’s commitment to expanding its range and volume of meetings around the world.
