Hamburg, Germany, Wednesday, 16th September 2015 – HANSA HEAVY LIFT has opened a regional office for the South European market covering France, Italy and Spain based in Monaco as part of on-going global expansion plans.
The office is managed by Walter Prosetti, Head of South Europe, HANSA HEAVY LIFT, who has over 35 years’ experience in the maritime and logistics sector.
“Monaco is in a strategic location which is perfectly positioned to serve South Europe in conjunction with our EMEA headquarters in Hamburg, ” said Joerg Roehl, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Managing Director, HANSA HEAVY LIFT.
“We continue to see increased demand from across Southern Europe for bigger and more challenging cargoes especially in the offshore sector.
“HANSA HEAVY LIFT is ideally able to meet these evolving demands as customers are looking for a partner with a solid safety record and sound engineering experience.
“Our specialized in-house team of naval architects, structural engineers and welding engineers with shipyard, offshore and installation background are a benefit for our customers.
“Our young fleet of vessels is equipped with cranes that have a combined lifting capacity of up to 1, 400 metric tons, so that we can operate independently of local infrastructure no matter the obstacle.
The new office will allow HANSA HEAVY LIFT to take greater advantage of markets across Southern Europe and enable the team to support the customers in real time.
