The issue of Ports is paramount not just for Greece and its hundreds islands, but for the entire European Union. The new technological advancements, size and propulsion systems in ships types and designs, as well as the size and scope of ports must be thoroughly examined, addressed and appropriately implemented so we can avoid loss of life, accidents and damages to ports, loss of revenue, but above all: proper Ports and Terminals will ensure further development, and creation of jobs – a must to do! Petty party politics destroy the ports issue in Greece; enough!
