Piraeus Opens a New Era
Local PrimeServ Academy moves into state-of-the-art premises and expands training programme
MAN Diesel & Turbo Hellas, Ltd. has extended its PrimeServ Academy, Piraeus with both brand-new premises and an expanded training programme that offer a direct knowledge transfer to its customers and the Greek shipping and marine communities.
The training centre has additional classrooms compared to its predecessor,
and is fitted with state-of-art equipment. Course participants will receive
comprehensive training on all MAN Diesel & Turbo equipment, delivered by
MAN-certified instructors. Hands-on, practical training is a hallmark of the new
facility that features such training aids as engine and equipment simulators,
actual engine parts, and the most modern educational material.
The official inauguration takes place on 21 October, 2015 with the attendance
of senior figures from MAN Diesel & Turbo SE including Dr Uwe Lauber –
Chief Executive Officer, Wayne Jones – Senior Vice President, After Sales
Business Unit, and Dr Tilmann Greiner – Head of PrimeServ Hamburg and
Centre of Competence, Europe, Senior Vice President.
