Bunkering operations in Dubai waters

Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has taken legal action against a fuel supplying company for illegally conducting bunkering operations in Dubai waters. The company was fined for failure to obtain the necessary permissions and approvals in violation of Dubai government regulations.Dubai Maritime City Authority calls upon all ships’ owners, ships, agents and bunker providers to adhere to the rules and regulations of the Emirate, and ensure all necessary permissions are obtained from DMCA before conducting any bunkering operations by barges.(For information about operations in Dubai contact GAC Dubai at dubai@gac.com)
