Replacement works at Exxon Mobile berth
Friday, November 27, 2015, Singapore
From 1January to 7 February 2016, replacement work will be conducted at the Exxon Mobil Berth 5, Persek Basin.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.142 of 2015, the work will be carried out between 0800 and 2000 hours daily including Sundays, within  the  working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01 deg. 17.035’N / 103 deg. 41.805’E
2) 00 deg. 17.073’N / 103 deg. 41.840’E
3) 01 deg. 17.065’N / 103 deg. 41.853’E
4) 01 deg. 17.025’N / 103 deg. 41.817’E
5) 01 deg. 17.037’N / 103 deg. 41.852’E
6) 01 deg. 17.050’N / 103 deg. 41.865’E
7) 01 deg. 17.045’N / 103 deg. 41.870’E
8) 01 deg. 17.032’N / 103 deg. 41.858’EThe replacement work includes the renewal of the fenders, fender gratings and the remote control tower.

Safety boats will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other craft of the project work.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
