The port of Algeciras gets PERS certified |

ESPO is delighted to congratulate the port of Algeciras for achieving the Port Environmental Review System (PERS) certification after the positive evaluation of its application earlier in December. The port of Algeciras gets PERS certified for the first time and ESPO warmly welcomes it to the distinguished community of PERS certified ports. | |

European ports overall consider that the 2015 Paris Climate Conference is a historic milestone for enhancing global collective action and moving towards a low-carbon and climate-resilient society. That is why the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) decided to join the “Think Climate” coalition that has been set up under the umbrella of PIANC, the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure. | |
