In order for the impounding pump culvert to be cleaned and grating replaced prior to the re-installation of No.2 impounding pump, the lock at Immingham Dock will closed to shipping during the following times:For cleaning and grid replacement:
– Wed 6 January, 0730 until 1130 – LW 0900 9.8m HW 1519 13.8m
– Thu 7 January, 0800 until 1200 – LW 0955 9.6m HW 1606 14.1m

Closure for pump replacement
– Wed 13 January, 1145 until 1700 – LW 1414 8.8m

Bad weather closes anchorage
Tuesday, January 5, 2016, Port Kembla, Australia
The anchorage at Port Kembla has been closed to shipping since yesterday evening (4 January) due to adverse weather conditions, strong force winds and an eastern swell of 3-5m close to offshore.Present indications are that the anchorage will remain closed to shipping for a further 24-48hrs.

The port/harbour remains opens to shipping movements.
