Kitack Lim,  Secretary General,  IMO The new secretary general Kitack Lim is set to give a keynote speech at the ICHCA International Conference. Mr. Lim will speak after just 2 months of his 4 year term after being elected on 1st of January 2016. Mr. Lim is the eighth elected Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization​.

Port of Barcelona Port Tour
Complimentary port tour for all attendeesAll conference attendees will be welcome aboard for the scenic and informative tour of the Port of Barcelona on 29 February. Departing from the City-Port area where commercial shopping centers and public attractions developed in Maremagnum Mall, the visit continues to the Short Sea Shipping basins where the ferry activity is held. The tour will then sail as well by the cruise terminals, where we attend some 850 calls per year. The port boat will then proceed to pass in front of solid and liquid terminals area. In the South basin you will visit car carrier area with the biggest terminal in the Mediterranean Sea with covered park areas. We’ll pay special attention to our two container terminals, TCB, just acquired by APM Terminals and BEST.
