More than ever, the ESPO Conference 2016 has all the necessary ingredients to make it an unforgettable event with a great theme: “Are European ports moving fast enough?”. Isabelle Ryckbost, Secretary General, European Sea Ports Organisation – ESPO writes:
The 2016 ESPO Conference will look into ways to improve the efficiency of maritime transport and ports, this from different angles: How to remove the remaining barriers in maritime transport and how to come to a real internal market for maritime transport? How to set the digital agenda for ports? Big data: what is in for European ports? How can ports benefit from new trade agreements? Is Brexit a possible game stopper?
We are honoured to count Jeremy Rifkin, the top-economist and influential thinker among our speakers. The debates between high-level panelists and port authorities representatives will be in the hands of Claire Byrne, an Irish radio and TV broadcaster.
As for the extra activities, our host, Dublin Port is doing more than one can expect from a host… including inviting you to the Admiral’s Ball, a gala black tie evening celebrating the Lord Mayor of Dublin’s honorary Admiralty of Dublin Port. The event also launches the Dublin Port Riverfest, a sophisticated evening of fine dining and premium entertainment is promised.
Since Dublin seems to be the place to be that week due to different important events such as Bruce Springsteen concert in Croke Park, the women’s’ mini marathon, the Cruise Europe conference, Bloom Festival, and Dublin Port’s RiverFest, we would strongly advise you to book now since we cannot ensure the rooms availability in the next few weeks. Register and book your accommodation now on http://www.espo-conference.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Dublin!
