A rowing event between Hong Kong and Macau will take place on 16 July 2016 (Saturday). About 25 rowing boats and 5 supporting yachts are expected to participate in the event.The event will start at Ma Wan Chung Pier, Lantau Island at 0800 hours on 16 July 2016, through northwest of Sha Lo Wan, thence to Hac Sa Beach, Coloane, Macau.Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the participants. The Kiel Canal Authority has announced that New Big South lock at Kiel-Holtenau will be closed for maintenance works from 0800 to 1500 hours local time tomorrow (14 July).
