The Markets fall continued in all sectors of the Shipping Markets; a new era of Geopolitics begins following Donald Trump’s rise into power. John Faraclas daily and weekly report:
When we speak of certainty in this market’s uncertainty and volatility, we mean it. When we warned and continue to warn of tough times ahead, despite others’ wishful thinking, we were proven verbatim right and we thank our viewers for their support and trust shown to us. The BDI lost 17 points since yesterday and now stands at 925 points which on the other hand 15 points plus since last Friday the 13 of January 910 points, thanks to the as ever volatile Capers.
The Capers’ BCI 2014 despite the 55 points fall since yesterday managed to be the only size with a weekly plus, that is to say the 227 points from the 1,383 closing of last Friday!
The Panamaxes and its respective BPI lost 11 points since yesterday standing at 970, and a massive – in comparison weekly on of minus 72 (from 1,042). CAUTION as below the 1,000 things aren’t rosy…
The Supras’ BSI continued both its daily as well as its weekly fall at 718 – minus 4 and 21 from 739 last week…
The Handies too on a dowfall modus; minus five since yesterday – now at 441 and minus 18 since last week’s 459 points.
So all in all the dry market is high and dry…
The Wets followed suit; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 1,002 minus two minus 22 from last Friday’s 1,024 points… The cleans lost 16 points now reading 616 and that is 59 points minus from last week’s 675 points.
Again a downfall leading to many questions…
The WTI which last week ended at US$ 53,01 now ends at US$ 53,24 – CAUTION as this might trigger social discontent especially amongst the poor members of our global village…
The geopolitical front might see a total revamp following Donald trump becoming the 45th USA president.
The MIGRANTS indeed continue to be the number ONE issue.
All other geopolitical events, including Donald trumps sworn-in before midnight.
