KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
Especially for the youngest (3-6 years), there is the program “You’re a hero!” Rinus Rat and his friend watch the captain an exciting journey in which everything goes wrong. How will this make? Discover every day of spring break at 12.00 and 14.00.

FAMILY TOUR (7+)
Many people find a true naval hero Michiel de Ruyter. Do you think that as well? Meet with an enthusiastic guide a journey through the 17th century and by the life of Michiel de Ruyter. Or is he a hero, then you decide yourself! Daily at 13:00 and 13:15 hours in the spring (from February 18 t / m March 5).

Go on a virtual adventure with the Sea voyage as the sailors themselves! Experience the stories behind some objects from our collection. At the end you yourself become part of history. How? Discover it! For children over 8 years. Daily from 10.30 to 16.15.

THE GOLDEN AGE (10+)
The exhibition “See you in the Golden Age ‘you can hear unique stories of extraordinary people from the 17th century. At that time, the Netherlands was a republic and one of the richest countries in the world. This period is called the Golden Age. Suitable for families with children from 10 years.
VOC SHIP
All aboard the East Indiaman ‘Amsterdam’! Shoot a cannon off, lifting the load, crawl through the hold or head behind the huge steering wheel like a real sailor. Come not try and feel what it used to be! The VOC ship daily visit and additional fun for families.

The museum, restaurant and shop are open 7 days a week from 09.00 to 17.00.
