The project, which is already in its final phase, consists on the rehabilitation of the vessel and her adaptation to the academic needs of the ENFM, in order to make possible the training of the students.

Capt. Antonio M. Padrón, accompanied by Dr. Han Deuk Hoon, Director of CEIMARPE in Spain, visited the vessel DIENDER and met with responsibles and students of the ENFM, proving the intense work developed by a large number of Korean experts sent by the KMI to Senegal in order to participate in the rehabilitation of the ship, also counting on the help and collaboration of the students of the ENFM.
