Celestyal Cruises, the specialist in destination-centric cruising, has announced its new season in the Aegean with new itineraries, new destinations and a new Celestyal Inclusive Experience. Celestyal Nefeli embarked on the company’s classic Iconic Aegean itineraries on March 10th and then will set sail on the company’s new Euphoric Itineraries (14 April – 30 June & 8 September – 27 October) and Idyllic Itineraries (30 June – 1 September).
New Euphoric Itineraries
Celestyal Cruises’ new Euphoric itineraries are 3, 4 and 7-day cruises to the classic and ancient cities and legendary harbors. These voyages are master classes in the Aegean, with calls at Cesme, Chania, Izmir, Lavrion, Mykonos, Nafplion, Rhodes and Santorini.
New Mediterranean cruise destinations
The ‘heroes’ of Celestyal’s cruises are the destinations themselves, including new mediterranean cruise destinations such as Samos, Chania and Nafplion (Peloponnese). The addition of Samos gives passengers the option of either adding an extra Greek island to their cruise or disembarking in Kusadasi, Turkey, near Ancient Ephesus.
Celestyal Inclusive Experience
Celestyal’s new Aegean season also includes the launch of the Celestyal Inclusive Experience, which provides passengers with full board accommodation featuring exquisite Greek enogastronomy, fascinating shore excursions, a rich onboard entertainment program and unlimited consumption drink packages. There’s no better, more economical, more immersive way to explore the Greek culture and experience the authentic Aegean.
Themed cruises
Celestyal has revitalized its entire onboard cruise experience, and the 2017 themed cruise season, divided into two sections, will include:
- Stories of Greek Heritage: Culture and Enogastronomy (March-May 2017 & September-November 2017) – Lyceum Club of Greek Women, Greek Cuisine Demonstrations, Greek Olive Oil, Greek Wine
- Stories of Greek Summer Festival (June-August 2017) – Greek Music, Traditional Greek Music (with Thanasis Polykandriotis), Science Festival, Full Moon Party
Kyriakos Anastassiadis, CEO of Celestyal Cruises commented;
“No other cruise can provide such a choice of destinations in such an authentic way and with such a high level of service at such an attractive price. Celestyal Cruises has become synonymous with value and with giving our passengers an ever-expanding selection of destinations. Four years ago we visited six harbors …now our new Aegean season covers 15.”
Pythagoras Nagos, VP of Sales for Celestyal Cruises commented;
“We remain the short break specialist in the Eastern Mediterranean. We have become a ‘top-of-mind’ holiday proposition for short breaks, particularly as our 3- and 4-day cruises, which call at two ports per day, are perfect for combination with land-based holidays. In just a weekend, you can traverse the Aegean, visit three islands and explore a UNESCO World Heritage site. What a great way to experience Greece!”

About Celestyal Cruises

Every cruise focuses on true cultural immersion, offering an authentic experience of the regions in which the vessels sail.
Sustainability
Celestyal Cruises is deeply committed to sustainability and ethical business practice. The company supports the local communities in the destinations it visits, particularly in the field of education. In addition to the above program, Celestyal Cruises supports cultural NGOs as well as promoting entrepreneurship, marine student development and child welfare.
ISO Certification
Following the successful ISO 9001/14001 auditing of three of the company’s ships and the company’s office, Celestyal Cruises’ operations are now certified in accordance with ISO 9001/14001 standards. This relates to the entire spectrum of cruise ship management including technical, hotel and crew management; the certifying authority is DNV-GL, which is by far the biggest and most respected classification society in the marine industry.

In 2016, the company won the prestigious Editor’s Pick award from Cruise Critic UK, the world’s largest online cruise community, in the ‘Best Value for Money (Ocean)’ category. Celestyal Cruises has enjoyed recognition in such prestigious awards as the Greek Tourism Awards (winning gold and silver in four categories in 2016); the Efkranti Awards; the HR Community Conference & Awards; and was finalist in the UK’s WAVE Awards.
