The Capers’ BCI gained 169 points and now stands at 2,324 points – wonder for how long this upwards triple digit euphoria will last…
The Panamaxes managed a mere 21 plus points with the BPI standing now at 1,310 points…
The Supras’ BSI with a double digit (11) – hooray hooray at 776 points, but the
Handies’ BHSI remained stack at 464 points.
So, we have to repeat our position: One size DOES NOT make or dictate the Markets or make a Market so to speak… Spikes are dangerous – there isn’t any stability due to the unsustainable nature in trade and geopolitics… Few, if any can get the message…
The Wets still down with the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) at 617 – minus one and 530 – minus six points respectively, as said yesterday remain an “enigma”…
The WTI at US$ 47.25; it might go even below the US$ 47 mark – good for the poor. There is something in the air that we dislike, an intuition suggesting problems…

The MIGRANTs maintain as always the top position; in Spain hundreds arrive and thousands have made the crossing, hundreds have been rescued and some had died… The Spanish Coast Guard rescued 339 MIGRANTS on board seven crafts in the Straits of Gibraltar – between Morocco and Spain; a lane being used more and more. It is very unusual to see these numbers as same has tripled since last year – from January to July this year we had 7,642 Migrants from 2,763 for the same period last year…
Moreover in Libya the Coast Guard there is targeting Spanish Migrants Aid groups operating and save above all lives – a bit of yet another mess… Because of the “deal” between the EU and Turkey last year “sealing off” the route to the Greek Islands, then on to Greece’s mainland for the long haul to Europe, most of the MIGRANTS have Italy as their focal point from Libya where 97,000 have reached its coast this year… Mess, Mess , Mess!
The Wars in Syria and Iraq against ISIS and all these dozens of Groups continues and “we” luck news… Despicable…
Next door Turkey’s aspirations might be cut sort, as we have long time ago predicted and written herein; the official announcement of Kurdistan is a matter not just of time, but of appropriate presentation – with or without the referendum there (North Iraq). Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Tsavousoglou “believes” that a civil war is imminent… We reiterate the view that all regions of Kurds in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey will be united into one single state – end of the story. Turkey, following the news decided to violate yet again Greece’s airspace… playing with fire… What an entertainment of ones losses to violate somebody else’s frontiers… Germany must come to terms with reality and abandon the patronage of Turkey as obviously the antipode / balance so to speak there upsets as it does over the last 400 years, Russia… keeping the Russian at bay from invading in the past Germany – read the real history and you will see… made Turkey a valuable German instrument… The Russian-Turkey wars were monumental…
Greece continues to burn-out with wildfires, natural or by arson in the mainland and its islands and wonder which regime can sort this out… In the meantime the political scenery is blur and expect despicable things to happen if the populist MPs from all parties continue their destructive acts against the Greek people. The lenders are “closing in” too and this can also trigger an upheaval… For those who yet don’t know and understand the Greeks, remember it is NOT “Beware the Greeks bearing gifts”, but “beware the Greeks wrath”…
BREXIT will continue and the name will still be Bond; nothing will deter the United Kingdom from its aspirations in a far better world, despite the propaganda surrounding the BREXIT.
