Pipeline removal operations will begin on Friday, November 24, 2017 in the vicinity of Enterprise Products (West) and the Maritime Administration cut; approximate position 30 deg. 01’37”N, 094 deg. 01’ 52.4”W.
This operation involves the removal of bottom cover followed by the raising and recovery of a 20-inch steel pipeline. This operation will restrict traffic to some degree at various stages throughout the operation including an expected 24-48 hour restriction for deep draft traffic during the pipeline removal phase. ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE Marine Safety Unit Port Arthur will host a teleconference call on Monday, November 27th at 10:00 a.m. to review the schedule and discuss anticipated restrictions.
