CHANNEL RESTRICTION FOR PIPELINE REMOVAL

Channel restriction for pipeline removal
Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Neches River, United States
Pipeline removal operations will begin on Friday, November 24, 2017 in the vicinity of Enterprise Products (West) and the Maritime Administration cut; approximate position 30 deg. 01’37”N, 094 deg. 01’ 52.4”W.

This operation involves the removal of bottom cover followed by the raising and recovery of a 20-inch steel pipeline.

This operation will restrict traffic to some degree at various stages throughout the operation including an expected 24-48 hour restriction for deep draft traffic during the pipeline removal phase.

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE
24-27 November 17: Mobilize equipment and personnel.
27-28 Nov 17: Pressurize line and mark.
28 Nov – 6 Dec 17: Remove cover from pipeline.
7-11 Dec 17: Remove pipeline.
12-15 Dec 17: Dress site
16-20 Dec 17: Demobilize
NOTE: the schedule may change based on the progress of each phase.
