49er, Nacra 17, and Laser Survive First Round
The events committee issued it’s recommendation for the first stage of 2024 Olympic selection and has recommended that 49er, 49erFX, Nara 17, Laser and Laser Radial should all be left as is for 2024. The other side of that decision is that they recommend Fin, RSX M/W, and 470 M/W should each go under review.

Announcing 2 Grand Prix Regattas for 2018
We are thrilled to announce two regattas that should suit sailors calendars well and compliment existing travel plans.
The first event is the Nice UltiMED. This regatta is run by the same group that runs the tour de france cycling race. We are a complimentary event to the massive trimarans which are the feature event. The timing of the regatta is great, since there is limited entry to Hyeres. This provides a great chance for teams who don’t get into Hyeres to get a race in, and also a sweet opportunity for those looking to get their sponsors all over TV.

The second regatta is the Vilamoura Grand Prix. From December 13-16, 2018, we’ll get the team at Vilamoura Sailing to organize a formal, 4 day regatta with great racing and little of the fuss. With luck, we’ll event get the tourism guys from the area on board and be able to broadcast. Details above.
