With immediate effect, the import of fertilizers and agricultural chemicals to Yemen is prohibited, except with a prior permission from agriculture authorities.

Anchorage closed to shipping
Tuesday, March 20, 2018, Port Kembla, Australia

The port authority at Port Kembla has advised that the anchorage was closed to shipping at 1200 hours local time today, Tuesday 20th March, due to adverse weather conditions.

All vessels at anchorage are instructed to return back to sea, 12NM off port.

The port remains open to shipping/harbour movements.

Canal staff on strike
Tuesday, March 20, 2018, Kiel Canal, Germany

Locks in the Kiel Canal are totally closed due to a strike by lockmaster/linesmen staff. No vessels can enter of leave Kiel locks for the duration of the strike, which is currently unknown.

UPDATE: Kiel Canal traffic control has advised that vessels can enter Brunsbuettel locks from 19.00 hours local time today for Kiel Canal transit. The Canal is expected to open again at about midnight.
