The Kiel Canal authorities have advised of a strike from 0600 hours local time today (27 March) starting at Brunsbüttel locks. The strike is expected to last 24 hours, though this has not been officially confirmed.

It is understood that vessels already inside the Canal when the strike starts will be able to clear to the Baltic.

Fog halts traffic

Vessel traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended at 14.30 hours local time today (27 March), due to dense fog and poor visibility.
