Lockmasters’ strike announced
Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Kiel Canal, Germany
A strike by lockmasters in the Kiel Canal has been announced for Thursday 12 April, most probably from 0600 to 2200 hours local time.
As a result, both locks at Kiel-Holtenau and Brunsbuettel will be blocked, no entryto or departure from the Canal will be possible during the strike period.
