All dry indices fell and let’s hear what the analysts and gurus have to say, as all things being equal, they missed in their assessments the tentative issue of Geopolitics which also include Trade Wars…
The Capes’ BCI was down 15 point at 1,986 falling below the 2,000 point threshold!
The Panamaxes’ BPI was also down – 1,321 points – down 18!
The Supras’ BSI down seven at 1,078… and
The Handies’ BHSI down three at 589 points…
Disappointed? Oh well… The heatwave cools everybody down given these results!
The Wets stranded; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans|) stood at 745 and 503 – no change for the dirties and minus three for the cleans!
The WTI just above US$ 70… I bet we are going to see despicable developments!!! Iran will counter one way or another; others too…
One good thing is expected to happen with those who have access to money: newbuildings of any kind; watch this space!
