Tropical Depression update (10 August)

At 17:00 hours local time today (Friday 10 August), the Tropical Depression was at the position 20.3 deg. North/111.1 deg. East, about 390km southwest of Hong Kong, with maximum sustained winds near the centre of 45 km per hour.
The tropical cyclone over the northern part of the South China Sea is forecast to linger over the vicinity of the coast of western Gunagdong to Hainan Island in the next couple of days.
