Berthing to be suspended for installation work
Friday, September 28, 2018, Pirpau, India

Pirpau Port Authorities have informed that installation work of loading arms for BPCL, at SCB (Second Chemical Berth) & NPP (New Pirpau Jetty) is scheduled as below:
SCB – 6am to 6pm on Wednesday 3 October 2018;
and
NPP – from 6am on Thursday 4 October to 6pm on Friday 5 October, 2018.

During this period berthing of vessels at these jetties will be suspended.

Anchorage closure ahead of strong winds
Friday, September 28, 2018, Port Kembla, Australia

Port Kembla anchorage area will be closed by 1700 hours local time today (28 September) due to forecast strong winds. All vessels at the anchorage have been requested to heave up their anchors, leave the anchorage area by 1700 hours and remain minimum 12 nautical miles offshore.

There is currently no indication of when the anchorage is expected to re-open.

The port remains open for shipping movements. Presently there is no indication expect to reopen the anchorage to shipping.
