Royal Navy and Princess Anne to join new Petrospot event

Petrospot is delighted to invite you to a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We are hosting a high-level one-day conference, on Thursday 29 November, focused on shipping and trade and featuring the IMO’s 2020 0.50% global sulphur cap and its impact on the region.

On the eve of the conference, all registered delegates will be invited to attend a VVIP Reception at the British Embassy Residence in Santiago, hosted by the British Ambassador and attended by HRH Princess Anne, the Princess Royal.

On Friday 30 November, delegates will join an exclusive technical site visit to the Port of Valparaíso, which will include an official behind-the-scenes private tour of British Type-23 Frigate HMS Montrose, hosted by the Royal Navy.

The Maritime Symposium: Chile will take place during the national celebrations of the Chilean Navy’s 200th anniversary and Chilean-British naval cooperation.

This level of access offered to delegates is unprecedented for a bunkering event, anywhere in the world. As a result, places are limited and early registration is essential.

Please note: Due to strict vetting and security clearance procedures to enter the British Embassy and board HMS Montrose, delegates are advised to register as early as possible. Petrospot cannot guarantee full access to both VVIP events to delegates registering after 9 November.
