The Capes’ BCI gained 50 points and now read 2,433…
The Panamaxes’ BPI clinched a dozen points and now stand at 1,490 – just about to go over and above the 1,500 threshold.
Four points plus for the Supras’ BSI now at 978 points.
Losses for the Handies’ BHSI now at 614 – minus three points.
The Wets …begin to fall. In any case they are now enjoying good levels so NO one should complain. The last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 1,223 points – no change and 909 – minus eight points respectively.
The WTI went under the US$ 50.00 mark; hooray hooray! Our prayer and advise … have been heard by the “Almighty” ! At US$ 49.88 it could have been better for the billions of poor masses and those living under poverty level. “Make” it now at US$ 40.00 and that’s it!
Geopolitics now begin to pay … “dividends” for all the warring functions. “War Father of All” as, if you don’t destroy you cannot rebuild.
MIGRANTS continue to make waves worldwide now. The Wars and Economic / Trade Wars are now swiftly back on the black-board.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia delivering her very touching speech
On another tone and note the Annual Charity Christmas Gala of Lifeline at Athens’ Grande Bretagne Hotel was more than a success. Over 500 turned out to help all those in need particularly newly born babies at the Public Hospitals and Maternity Clinics in Greece, supporting intensive care units and respective treatments with medical equipment and other assistance such as ambulances.
The Patron of this charitable society, HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia, delivered a very touching speech – never ever before such a speech was delivered receiving a great applause. The Royal couple, HRH Prince Alexandros and HRH Princess Katherine of Serbia are universally known for their charitable work!

The Shipping Industry was there in full force; George D. Pateras president of the Piraeus Chamber of Shipping was at the top table as was Irene St. Daifas, president of the Piraeus Marine Club, A.S. Marine’s Stella-Alexia Mantzari – one of the greatest supporters of Lifeline Hellas’ (Greece) events was there too! We spotted also George Margetis and his wife as well as many others from the Akti Miaouli fraternity – see relevant pictures herein.

Last but not least we were taken by surprise when HRH. Princess Kathrine’s grandson Alexandros – Andrews come on stage performing the song ‘New York, New York’. A talent is born! A very touching moment for all. He was warmly applauded!
Among other issues and developments there was a mentioning by HRH Princess Katherine on the Charitable work by Heleni Bousis who managed to raise over US$ 3 mio for the Hippocratic Cancer Research Foundation at the other side of the Atlantic; many congratulations!
