Singapore MPA temporarily suspends ERNPEC (Singapore) PTE Ltd’s bunker craft operator licence

Following an enforcement check on a bunker tanker operated by Southernpec (Singapore) Pte Ltd, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has temporarily suspended Southernpec’s bunker craft operator licence until further notice. During this period, Southernpec is not allowed to operate as a bunker craft operator in the Port of Singapore.

New regulations and tariff at Taboneo, Banjarmasin port – Indonesia

Banjarmasin Port Authority has appointed PT. Indonesia Multi Purpose Terminal (IMPT)) port operator at Taboneo, Banjarmasin. IMPT have introduced an integrated Loading Point Service fee with effect from 10 May 2019 as follows:

LOADING POINT SERVICES = [USD.106 x 2 (IN/OUT)] + [GRT x 0.037 x 2 (IN/OUT)]

Integrated Loading Point Service is applicable to vessels that operate at Taboneo Floating terminal as follows:

1. Direct the ships to the specific / appointed loading point using the ECDIS Radar and VHF Radio communication (Ch 16, 71, and 74).
2. Direct the ships to loading point in the concession area and from loading point out of the concession area.
3. Manage the ships movements (tug and barge and Transhipment Equipment).

Taboneo floating crane facilities are available as follows:
a. Supporting Navigation Safety.
b. Implementation of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
c. Availability of the First Aid Post Clinic (24/7) and paramedic at the Floating Office Permata Barito.
d. Environmental Management in the Concession Area in accordance with the Environmental Permit.
