Mark Prendergast to retire from Harris PYE engineering group in May 2020

Mark Prendergast, Chief Executive Officer of Harris Pye Engineering Group, a Joulon company has announced that he is to retire on 30 May 2020.

The Harris Pye Engineering Group, global specialists in the provision of repairs, upgrades and conversions to the marine, offshore oil and gas, and associated onshore industrial sectors as well as having a renewables, biomass and green technology portfolio, was acquired by the Joulon Group in December 2017.

Mark Prendergast explains: “Since joining Harris Pye, 24 years ago, I have been constantly circumnavigating the globe as we built the group from one company with a small number of overseas companies to one with a 1,700 global team based in 17 facilities and offices around the world.

“The time has come to spend more time with my family as well as to pursue other interests.   I look forward to working with the Joulon and Harris Pye teams in this transition period, ensuring that by the time I leave next May things are running smoothly with the new team in place to enable both the Joulon Group and Harris Pye to achieve their objectives, expanding into new regions and into more vertical markets.”
