For approximately 6 months, trimming and levelling of seabed works [is being] carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (F) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 16.973’N / 114 deg. 10.502’E
(B) 22 deg. 16.996’N / 114 deg. 10.499’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.001’N / 114 deg. 10.561’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.034’N / 114 deg. 10.557’E
(E) 22 deg. 17.047’N / 114 deg. 10.673’E
(F) 22 deg. 17.059’N / 114 deg. 10.849’E
The works [are being] carried out by two dumb lighters. One tugboat and one work boat provide assistance.
A working area of approximately 50 metres around the lighters [is] established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights [are] laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the lighters.
Several silt curtains, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, [are] established within the works area. Each silt curtain is a large piece of netting used to contain mud and sediments. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights [are] laid to mark the extents of the silt curtains.
The works [are being] carried out round-the-clock.
Diving operations [are being] carried out from time to time during the hours of work.
Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works area at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the area.

For approximately 5 months, marine works involving dredging operations [are being] carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (H) and the adjacent shorelines:
(A) 22 deg. 23.673’N / 114 deg. 12.420’E
(B) 22 deg. 23.724’N / 114 deg. 12.359’E
(C) 22 deg. 23.764’N / 114 deg. 12.397’E
(D) 22 deg. 23.780’N / 114 deg. 12.378’E
(E) 22 deg. 23.861’N / 114 deg. 12.455’E
(F) 22 deg. 23.845’N / 114 deg. 12.475’E
(G) 22 deg. 23.967’N / 114 deg. 12.591’E
(H) 22 deg. 23.915’N / 114 deg. 12.654’E
The works [are being] carried out by a flotilla of vessels including one derrick lighter, two hopper barges, two bucket pontoons, one backhoe pontoon, two tugboats and one work boat. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements.
The dredged material will be conveyed to a derrick lighter anchored within a transshipment area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (I) to (L):
(I) 22 deg. 24.941’N / 114 deg. 13.151’E
(J) 22 deg. 24.905’N / 114 deg. 13.194’E
(K) 22 deg. 24.864’N / 114 deg. 13.156’E
(L) 22 deg. 24.901’N / 114 deg. 13.112’E
A working area of approximately 15 metres around each working vessel [is] established in the works area and the transshipment area. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights [are] laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from these vessels.
The hours of work [are] from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works [is] carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works stay in the works area and the transshipment area outside the hours of work.
A silt curtain, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, [is] established beside the backhoe pontoon.
Vessels engaged in the works display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

Suspension of traffic

Due to a swimming race event, vessel traffic in the Bosphorus will be suspended between 09:00 and 13:00 hours local time on Saturday, 21 July.
