Hellas’ minister of National Defence Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos and Panos Laskaridis sign donation acceptance for a general support ship
The Shipping Community is well known internationally for its charitable work, work encompassing every kind of donation and it is more than known for its sensitivity supporting the Hellenic Armed Forces be it Land forces, the Navy or Airforce.
At a meeting towards the end of last week Nikolas Panagiotopoulos, Hellas’ Minister of National Defence met with Panos Laskaridis to sign the acceptance of the donation of a General Support vessel for the Hellenic Navy.
Mr. Panagiotopoulos expressed his gratitude to Mr. Laskaridis whose kind donation will greatly contribute to the enhancement of the Hellenic Navy’s mission for support capabilities. Among others, present at this signing ceremony were the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General (HAF) Christos Christodoulou and the Chief of the Hellenic Navy’s General Staff, Vice Admiral (HN) Nikolaos Tsounis. Excellent!
