Career4Sea Forum and Awards 2019

During the forum, various aspects of the Shipping Industry were presented to young students and trainee naval officers, while the speakers answered questions and discussed potential opportunities and future challenges.

Maria Mavroudi, winner of the Next Generation Award-Women for her career in Shipping at the Marine Insurance field, but also for successfully setting up and running Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel in Astypalea, serving as a role model for the younger generation. Maria encouraged the audience to work hard, be patient and follow their passion in order to make their dreams come true.

Among the winners were also George Teriakidis, Business Development Manager of DNV-GL, Dorothea Ioannou, COO of SCB Hellas as managers of the American P&I Club and Susanna Laskaridis, founder of Real Time Graduates, Eletson Corp. represented by Capt. Aslanoglou and the Dept. of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus.
