The LPG “ECO TEXIANA”
Vafias Group announces the delivery of its 31st ship under construction in Japan!
The LPG ECO TEXIANA 5000 cbm fully pressurized VCM carrier was delivered from MURAKAMI shipyard in Japan and was named by the ambassador of Japan in Greece his excellency mr Yasuhiro Shimizu
The ship flies the Marshall Islands flag and is classed by NK. She will be trading in the spot market in the far east carrying mainly propane, butane and VCM.
The ship has many extra specs incorporated that make it more appealing to the major oil chrts and the national gas companies especially the addition of all required upgrades by EXXON and DOW chemical!
After this latest addition the group manages 80 ships of all ship types (ie press, semi ref and fully ref LPG, crude and product tankers and bulk carriers)
The group is building two more pressurized gas ships, one 7,500 cbm and one 11,000 cbm in Japan to be delivered august 2020 and January 2021 respectively!
