Further revision of curfew
Sunday, April 12, 2020, Sri Lanka

The existing curfew in the districts Colombo, Gampaha, Kaluthara, Puttalam, Kandy and Jaffna will continue until further notice.

The curfew in the rest of the country (areas including Ports of Galle, Hambantota and Trincomalee) will be in force until 0600 hours on Tuesday 14 April, and re-imposed on the same day at 1600 hours.

During the hours of curfew, movement from one district to another is completely banned except for essential services.

The restriction on inbound international commercial passenger flights has been extended until further notice. All international airports in the country remain closed for arriving international commercial passenger flights.

Mandatory stay at anchorage

As a precaution against COVID-19, ships calling at the ports of Hodeidah and Saleef must remain at anchorage for 14 days before they may enter the ports and proceed to berth.

Lockdown of Muscat Governorate

Oman’s Supreme Committee on Covid-19 has decided to completely isolate Muscat from all other governorates in the country. If there is a need to extend the closure, it will be based on the epidemiological investigations.

Only grocery shopping is allowed.

Movements will be facilitated for trucks, food supply and medical emergency.

There are strict limits on the entry and exit of individuals.

Employees may go to work only if their work presence is required, and they must carry a letter from their company. There will be no entry for employees from outside Muscat unless the companies requests their entry.

Food and ration commodities are sufficient for a long time and there will be follow-up by the competent authorities to provide all basic services, ration and food commodities.

Health services will be made available to all members of society in the Governorate of Muscat and will facilitate their movement to get health care.
