Midweek blues with Capes plummeting; Wets too…

BDI (Baltic Dry Index) fell 41 points to 534, thanks, once again, to the as ever volatile and unpredictable Capes. The recorded losses for the Wets are substantial. Premeditated developments in the Geopolitical front. Coronavirus will remain… for some time. John Faraclas’ midweek recap:

The Capes’ BCI lost 150 points and now stands at 519 points losing also the 600-point threshold…

The Panamaxes’ BPI was down 14 points a 678…

Three points plus for the Supras’ BSI now at 420; the only size “going” up…

Down two points for the Handies’ BHSI now a 231…

The Wets falling too; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 8811 – down 24 and 1,216 – down 123 points respectively… CAUTION.

The WTI ended down at US$ 23.99… CAUTION here too…

When we say premediated developments in the Geopolitical arena, this alone suggests vigilance for all as sudden things can happen; those who do not wish Peace they will opt for War… They do no have the charisma to negotiate!! Coronavirus is the magic cloud hiding all issues, sins and those who will go for war will use the element of surprise. CAUTION.

We hope politicians MUST come down to their senses and tell the truth about Coronavirus… or they will come down to their knees…  After all as many politicians – Presidents, PMs and MPs have said: we are at war… Many of us, amongst other military training, we have been trained for Biological Warfare – you dead well know what I mean!!!

  • Wonder how politicians will find money to pay pensions…
  • Wonder how they will streamline the economy and world debt now at US$ 260 trillion…
  • Wonder if they have any plan to tackle the worse ever Recession…
  • Wonder why they blame Coronavirus for all the mess they have created…
  • Wonder how they will tackle the current tourist season’s mess…
  • Wonder how they will respond to the highest ever level of unemployment

Tomorrow is another day and the Market figures will be worse… Don’t take any notice of the stock markets; too many dirty tricks there… Did I hear you say bubbles???

Our hearts, minds and thoughts are not only with all the medical community looking after the World population in its war against Coronavirus; they are with the Seafarers that are out there at the seven seas ensuring they bring the ships safe into ports with their cargoes intact and all those in the intermodal chain….

Have a nice evening and continue to remain on guard from actions emanating from Pirates, Terrorists, Criminals and any Business Hooligan whatsoever wherever you are on Planet Ocean…
