Introduction
As we are now approaching six months after the implementation of the MARPOL 2020 fuel Sulphur cap, in this webinar we will be reviewing some of the prominent issues that have arisen, from both practical and legal perspectives, as well as their implications for owners and operators.
We will also provide insight as to the measures that can be adopted to help prevent problems and minimise damage to the vessel and to safeguard the interests of the parties involved.
Issues to be discussed will include:
- Bunker quality claims
- Testing requirements
- Use of FONAR
- The carriage ban and its implications for owners and ship operators
