Further to our latest communication, we are excited to announce that Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel has opened its doors on 29 June.
This day has been months in the planning, from countless Zoom meetings, trainings, and webinars on Covid-19 safety and best practices in consultation with Be Safer hygiene experts and in line with WHO and Greek Government guidelines to ensure we are providing peace of mind during your stay on Astypalea Island.
The health, safety and comfort of our guests and employees are our top priority so we have obviously had to make some changes to the way we do things, such as:
- Implementation of specialized operation protocol and rigorous cleaning regime based on the guidelines provided by the National Public Health Organization and international sanitation standards in cooperation with Be Safer leading hygiene and safety experts.
- Implementation of innovative cleanliness and disinfection methods with the use of fogger and certified biocide liquids for enhanced safety of our staff and guests.
- All staff has successfully completed dual training on health and safety practices organized by Be Safer and the Prefecture of South Aegean for protection of their personal health and offering high quality services to Kallichoron’s guests.
- Fast check-in option available before arrival via mobile App to observe social distancing.
- Digital guest communication with SuitePad tablets to assist guests before, during and after their stay at Kallichoron, allowing contactless a-la-carte breakfast and in-room dining order and delivery.
- Partnership with Telemedicine Centre to provide guests and staff with 24/7 access to remote monitoring of COVID-19 cases by their Infectious Diseases Team.
- Kallichoron Travel Flex policy to provide maximum flexibility and peace of mind when travelling.
- Rewarding loyalty by maximizing benefits with Kallichoron’s Loyalty Club.
Additionally, we deeply believe that supporting the communities where we live and work makes the difference. In addition to the free nights offered to the frontline health workers, leading the battle against COVID-19, we have donated 300 surgical masks and 10 face shields to the Regional Clinic of Astypalea through our Corporate Social Responsibility program “Kallichoron Room2Give” and in cooperation with Waterbags and the NGO “Agoni Grammi Gonimi”.
