London, 7th September 2020: Global re/insurance outsourcing and consulting specialists Pro Global Holdings Limited (‘Pro’) announces that Sue Barenbrug has joined the company as Head of Data Management and Risk Modelling and to lead its CAI augmented intelligence project.
The innovative CAI platform has been developed to digitally transform the underwriting process, and cleanse data faster and more efficiently than current manual processes. CAI offers real and tangible advantages for reducing costs and increasing efficiency by analysing and cleansing huge volumes of unstructured underwriting data and automating processes to intelligently offer insurers better operational and business efficiency.
Steve Lewis, CEO Pro, said:
“We are driving ahead with investment in CAI, our AI ‘Augmented intelligence’ data cleansing service, and I am delighted that Sue Barenbrug has agreed to join Pro as head of Data Management and Risk Modelling Services to lead this opportunity. Sue has worked for many of the big names in the industry and her diverse working experience within the London and international markets will greatly strengthen the team already in place.”
Richard Emmett, Head of Insurance Services at Pro, said:
“We’re very pleased that somebody with such industry experience over a number of disciplines will now be leading the exciting next stage of the CAI Project – a ground-breaking initiative where Sue will be able to bring her wealth of knowledge to bear.
Sue has worked within catastrophe modelling and exposure management for 16 years, heading up various teams on both a permanent and contract basis within the insurance industry itself for over 30 years, including roles encompassing integration management, syndicate reporting, reserving, management information, credit control and operations, and it is this varied expertise that will stand her in such good stead as she takes up this role.”
Sue Barenbrug, Head of Data Management and Risk Modelling, said:
“Working on the CAI project, which has so much potential in a global industry where using augmented intelligence for data cleansing will surely become accepted market practice, is an extremely exciting prospect for me. I really look forward to the challenge and to working with the team to bring about this achievement.
Starting out in the insurance industry after graduating from Manchester University with a Mathematics degree, during her career Sue has worked for some of the highest profile names in the global (re)insurance industry.
