Capes positive reverse brings the BDI@1,282 points still within perplexed and explosive Geopolitics with Coronavirus further surge…
The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) following a second day of Capes’ positive reverse was up 15 points since last Friday the 11th of September 2020. In the Geopolitical perplexed arena who can’t see Turkey’s new bluff, eh! CAUTION! Coronavirus cases approach thirty million and deaths one million. John Faraclas’ daily brief recap:
The Capes’ BCI was up 59 points since last Friday and now stands at 1,898 points. The only size with a plus sign and let us hope a positive surge continues…
The Panamaxes’ BPI was down 13 points and now is down flat at 1,300 points…
Down three points for the Supras’ BSI now at 914…
Two points down for the Handies’ BHSI now at 558 points.
Once again a falling Dry Market as one size doesn’t constitute and or create a Market and in this case it’s only the Capes who “saved” the day…
Both Wets on a falling mode; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 456 – minus three and 462 – minus five points respectively…
The WTI stood more or less the same as of 11 Sept – US$ 37.293 today, versus US$ 37.296 on 11 Sept 2020.
Container trade slightly picked up but these are early days and we must wait. CAUTION!
In the Geopolitical front still:
The MIGRANTS on top and it is about time we end this inhumane, political and religious situation which will bring incalculable repercussions for all! above all: mind the Jihadists within, the provocations too as well as blackmail… Personally I am waiting to seem the investigation on the fire which completely burnt out the Moria inhumane camp on the Greek Island of Lesvos!!!
Turkey continues to play dirty tricks; one of them is “pulling” away the “Oruc Reis” its research ship for maintenance and supplies… What a theatrical excuse for all particularly for the Greek and Cypriot people, but we do not accept these nonsense as if this is the case, then she was operating illegally in Greece’s and Cyprus’ EEZ; end of the story!!! Expect mess…
