Oil spill response and clean-up
Saturday, February 13, 2021, Gibraltar
Operations at the port of Gibraltar were suspended on Friday afternoon (12 February) to facilitate the collection and clean-up of an oil spill from a vessel taking on bunkers.
Resumption of operations began in the evening but, as of this morning (13 February), no harbour craft is operating until further notice due to the clean-up operation.

Towage operation
Saturday, February 13, 2021, Bosphorus, Turkey
VTS Istanbul this morning (13 February) sent tugboats to tow a vessel to anchorage after it reported its fuel reducing on board while navigating north to south in the Bosphorus Strait.
Planned south-to-north vessel traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended due to the towage operation in the Strait, but continued in the north-to-south direction.
