Wednesday, May 19, 2021, Norway

All persons (including crew) who have been outside EEA/Schengen – with the UK exempted – must now serve a full 10 days in quarantine at a designated quarantine location at the first entry border point to Norway.

The 10-day quarantine period may be shortened by having a negative PCR-test taken on day 7, which for all practical purposes will completed the quarantine on day 8 or 9 (normally minimum 24 hours waiting for the test result).

This regulation applies for on-signers to vessels in port or persons that will stay in Norway after signing off. For off-signers leaving Norway, they can leave before 10 days of quarantine is ended.

Further, with effect from 18 May, vaccination is not subject to exemption from the regulations.
