Big News about Portable Simulator

Our Portable Simulator fills the gap in the market, which is to be able to train quickly and conveniently without any physical boundaries. So to speak, “unfold and train”.

We believe that this is the reason why we have already attracted a lot of customers.

Here’s some of the success stories

Challenge:
Currently, Limetree’s students sail on a tugboat with a conventional propulsion. However, Limetree began looking into retraining tug captains. This presented them with a question of how this goal can be achieved most effectively.
Solution:
Portable Simulator enables to retrain the captains on azimuth controls. This way, they can receive comprehensive training, learn advanced maneuverability and strengthen their assessment capabilities.
Challenge:
In order to attract new recruits to work in the navy, the Ministry of Defence aims to raise awareness of what a sailing job entails. As the Ministry is already a NAUTIS simulator user, they look for a rather mobile version while preserving the functionality and visuals’ quality.
Solution:
Our Portable Simulator offers a compact kit that is easy to carry around and takes only 3-4 minutes to set up. It will enhance the Ministry of Defence’s demonstration and consequently, help achieve their main objective.
Challenge:
Viking Cruises would like to understand the possibilities and advantages of simulation training. As they are planning to implement blended learning, adding a simulation component can benefit their intention immensely.
Solution:
Renting a Portable Simulator for a month is a low entry point to get acquainted with simulation training and assess whether it’s indeed useful for Viking Cruises.
Fun fact:

We visited Viking Cruises at the beginning of February and did a little trial. It took them only 3:44 minutes to set up a Portable Simulator from the get-go.

Mobility and swift setting up could become an extra advantage for Viking Cruises. With Portable Simulator, training can be done on literally any ship in the harbor depending on availability and training needs.
