Earlier on this evening at the Yacht Club of Greece off Mikrolimano, the General Assembly of the Chios Marine Club took place as well as the voting to elect the 11 member-strong Board of Directors.
Three speeches by the President Capt. Antonis H. Pitsilos – on what took place over the last two years, Treasurer Anargyros Kavouras on the finances and by Special Secretary Maria M. Tripolitis, who also presided the AGM, on the decisions taken during the last tenure and delivered an excellent power point presentation.
Afterwards the election process / voting took place were 97 members voted; those elected in alphabetical order:
Achladitis Konstantinos, Banos Epaminondas, Bougioukas Marios, Faraclas Ioannis, Kakalis Nikolaos, Kamarados Panagiotis, Kasmas Makis, Kavouras Anargyros, Pitsilos H. Antonios, Tripoliti M. Maria, and Varias Simos.
The Auditing Committee:
Nikolaos Arakas, Emmanouil Karamanis and Efstathios Mouratidis
The Electorate Committee
Georyios Chloros, Ioannis Kotsanis and Konstantinos Triantafillos
The eleven elected will convene next week to elect the new BoD’s President, Vice President, Secretary-General, Treasurer, Special Secretary and members.
Once again excellent organisation skills by the Secretariat’s Maria Metaxaki as well as from the members of the current BoD, keeping the appropriate protocols for Coronavirus (COVID-19), needless to say the service by the personnel of the YCG. Well done!
