The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost 52 points since yesterday and now reads 965… same was down 117 points since Friday 26 Aug 2022…

Capes’ BCI minus 35 to 302!
Panamaxes’ BPI minus 67 to 1,217…
Supras’ BSI down 65 to 1,626… and
Handies’ BHSI down 17 to 902
The Wets in falling mode too; the last published BDTI (Dirty) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 1,514 – down 14 and 1,236 – down 24 points respectively… CAUTION.
The WTI fell US$ 2,09 since yesterday (US$ 91.64) and now reads US$ 89.55
The main three stock markets fell:
The FTSE 100 was down 77.48 since yesterday and now reads 7,284.48
The Dow Jones was down 280.44 and now stands at 31,510.43 and
The NIKKEI lost 104.05 and now reads 28,091.53
The Euro / USDollar parity was slightly up at 1,0039 from 1,0024 yesterday; call it 1=1!
The Ukrainiam mess will engulf us all; additional and longer Recession, Inflation and Energy madness as no one seems to agree for the right thing and leave Putin’s Russia idle… When we say Sanctions, we mean 100 centum Sanctions and the EU in particular MUST get its act together; end of the story.-
