Chios Marine Club hosted its Christmas gathering for members and guests on Wednesday 21 December 2022 at the club’s specially decorated reception room, downtown in Piraeus. Τhe event was attended by a large number of members and friends of the club. The members exchanged in a jovial atmosphere wishes for the upcoming Christmas and New Year Holidays.
Our newly registered member companies were awarded by receiving the plaque which was created for this purpose. The event was honoured, among others by RAdm (Rt) HCG Theodoros Rentzeperis, Danae Bezantakou (Navigator Consultants Ltd, and YES to Shipping founder), Petros Vassilopoulos, commercial manager of Magic Sea Ferries, and Thanos Kyrtatas, sales manager at Marel Electronics.
Our guests received the club’s complimentary 2023 Desk Diary. The diary is also distributed free of charge via Golden Cargo SA to members, company members and friends of the club.
The president Capt Antonis Pitsilos and the board warmly thanked all those present and wished everyone a happy festive season with good health above all!
Next event: the club’s annual Vassilopita on the 21 of January 2023 at the Athens Marriott Hotel.
Many congratulations to Ms Mary Metaxakis, the club’s head of secretariat for her organisational skills and selecting the buffet food and drinks as well as the traditional Greek Christmas sweets.
