The session will look at the new IMO 2023 MEP76 regulations Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) and Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) and the impact it will have on the shipping Industry.
The webinar will highlight the legal implications of the regulations, types of charter and risks, EEXI compliance, CII ratings and reduction and the use of alternative fuels such as LNG, methanol and ammonia.
These new decarbonisation measures introduced by the IMO, started on January 1st with an aim to further reduce GHG emissions across the industry by 40% within seven years (2030).
