
Marine works at Tseung Kwan O | GAC For approximately 24 months, marine works involving construction of footbridge will be carried out in the following works areas:
WORKS AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:

(B) 22° 18.106’N 114° 15.836’E
(C) 22° 18.044’N 114° 15.798’E
(D) 22° 18.080’N 114° 15.737’E
WORKS AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H) and the adjacent shoreline:
(E) 22° 18.022’N 114° 15.833’E
(F) 22° 18.032’N 114° 15.817’E
(G) 22° 18.095’N 114° 15.856’E
(H) 22° 18.089’N 114° 15.868’E
The works will be carried out by two dumb lighters and two special purpose vessels. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
A working area of approximately 50 metres around each working vessel will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the working vessels.
Silt curtains, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, will be established within each works area. The silt curtain is a large piece of netting used to contain mud and sediments. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtains.
The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works areas outside the hours of work.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal working hours during Ramadan | GAC In observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan, CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal working hours will be as follows:

1830-2030 hours
COMMERCIAL & ADMIN DEPARTMENTS
– Working hours Monday-Thursday: 0900-1500 hours
– Working hours Friday: 0900-1500 hours
OPERATIONS (WATER & LAND SIDE)
24 hours (except Suhoor & Iftar breaks)
During break hours, any work that is carried out on customer requests shall be charged as overtime as per CSP ADT tariff. Further, our regular working hours will resume from the first working day after Eid El-Fitr holidays.

Strike to halt vessels entering Canal | GAC Due to the strike announced by labour union ver.di, no vessels will be able to enter the Kiel Canal during the affected period from 06:00 to 22:00 hours local time tomorrow (24 March).
This applies to all vessels, west- and east-bound.
Vessels already inside the Canal may proceed in both directions to the North and Baltic Seas.
Kiel Canal Traffic Control will issue updated allocation plans starting from 22:00 hours local time today (23 March) for all outgoing vessels to leave the waterway by single traffic routing.
Delays up to several hours are to be expected.

Ramadan working hours | GAC The following will be the working hours [at Sharjah Port] during Ramadan commencing from the first day:
- CAR SHIPS: RO RO
Will berth and commence discharge on arrival and work till completion. Overtime will be from 1530 hours to 0600 hours and all shifts on Saturdays and holidays. - REEFER SHIPS / PASSENGHER SHIPS / GENERAL CARGO SHIPS etc
I SHIFT: 0600-1200 hours
II SHIFT: 1530-2100 hours (1 hour break for Iftar)
III SHIFT: 2100-0300 hours
Overtime will be for II & II shifts on working days and all shifts on Saturday and holidays.
Where ship owners are pressed for time to complete discharging/loading of their ships during Ramadan, pre-arrangements can be made with the port operations to work during II & II shift on overtime basis.
To prevent congestion, the Port Authority reserves the right to work any ship during II & III shifts on overtime basis if it deems necessary. Otherwise, the vessel will have to be shifted to outer anchorage on owner’s account.
DELIVERY FROM SHEDS & YARDS:
0600-1200 hours on week days.
Note: Delivery can be effected will 2000 hours provided consignees book gang in advance before 1200 hours on the day delivery is required.
OFFICE WORKING HOURS:
Monday-Thursday: 0900-1430 hours.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Holidays.

- BULK AND SERVICE HARBOUR OPERTATIONS
Ship loaders 1 & 2 operations will be suspended during the following timings:
0415-0515 hours
1830-1930 hours
Service harbour operations will be suspended during the following timings:
0330-0530 hours
1800-2000 hours - OFFICE WORKING HOURS:
Monday-Thursday: 0900-1430 hours.
