RINA’s Annual Dinner

After a four year Covid hiatus, RINA celebrated it’s annual Dinner with over 300 guests at the iconic De Vere’s Grand Connaught Rooms in London.

Amongst these 300 guests there was a notable Greek presence with Strathclyde’s Evangelos Boulougouris, Carnival’s George Vavourakis, Bureau Veritas’ Yanni Calogeras and AP&A’s George Papadakis.

The Royal Institution of Naval Architects was established in 1860 and currently has over 8000 members, 65% outside the UK.

In 2022, BMT’s Catriona Savage was elected RINA’s first female President, following Maurizio d’Amico’s tenure over 2020-2022.

RINA’s goal is to be recognised as an International Centre of Excellence for Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering.
