International businesses involved with the Solent-based maritime sector are invited to enter the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2023.
International maritime businesses with links to the Solent region are encouraged to showcase their work in the prestigious Maritime UK Solent Awards 2023 – but time to enter is running out.
The International Partner of the Year award has been introduced this year for global businesses, collaborators, and umbrella organisations who are actively involved in international trade within the Solent’s maritime sector. It will be awarded to an international partner who demonstrates leadership, strong engagement, and knowledge of the maritime world, including its economy and the challenges the global sector faces, and is committed to developing a relationship with the Solent maritime cluster.
Anne-Marie Mountifield, Chair of Maritime UK Solent, said: “We really encourage international maritime partners to take part in the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2023 and send in their entries by next Monday, 17 July.
“The Solent is renowned as an international trade hub, so global businesses working with organisations in this region will have the opportunity to enhance their reputation, gain valuable exposure, and forge new network connections.
“The past winners of the annual Maritime UK Solent Awards have experienced a significant boost to their business and encourage others to get involved. The annual Maritime UK Solent Awards celebrate the remarkable achievements and success within the local maritime cluster. This year, the addition of the international award category emphasises the integral role the Solent region plays as a global gateway involved in international trade and our ambitions to reinforce the Solent as a global maritime brand.
The deadline for submissions for the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2023, including The International Partner of the Year award, is 17 July 2023. The Awards evening will take place on 5 October 2023 at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
