What our students say
I embarked on the Master of Science in Stress and Health Management program with the aim of understanding and preventing burnout. I soon discovered there is much more to learn. Halfway through the program, the courses on complexity, homeostasis and stress, biology and psycho-neuroendocrinology, and research design expanded my perspective. I now recognize the broader implications of stress and the need for comprehensive approaches to promote well-being. Guided by exceptional teachers and alongside a diverse cohort of passionate students, this journey has begun to equip me with the skills to make a significant impact in stress management and I am looking forward to the rest of the program and the actionable insights and knowledge to come.

Mohand Bouhadouf, MSSHM ’24

I wholeheartedly recommend the Master of Science in Stress and Health Management program to anyone looking to develop their skills in stress management and improve their overall well-being. It covers everything from the physiological and psychological mechanisms of stress to the biology of stress in the brain and to practical stress management techniques.

I was fascinated by the way Professor Chrousos integrated ancient Greek scientific philosophy into his teaching and made the learning experience exceptional. I also appreciated the quality of the other instructors, who were all knowledgeable and passionate about their subject and always available to answer questions and to provide guidance. As a psychologist and health and wellness coach who specializes in stress management through voice mindfulness in health and workplace, the program gave me a comprehensive overview of the field and has enabled me to make a greater impact in this field.
