Monday, 4 September 2023 – The Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeslyn Tan as its Executive Director with effect from 4 September 2023. She will be succeeding Jeffrey Yeo, who will be retiring at the end of 2023.
Jeffrey became the SRA’s inaugural Executive Director in 2015, at a crucial time when the SRA grew in its prominence in the region. He built up the Secretariat team and was instrumental in the growth and accomplishments of the association in the last nine years. One of SRA’s notable task is the organization of the annual Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC). Today, all would agree that the SIRC has
cemented its place as the most distinguished Reinsurance Rendezvous for Asia, a strong testament to the achievements of Jeffrey, his team and the Executive Committee (EXCO).
Jeslyn has over 20 years of industry experience leading consulting, distribution, and market management with AIG, Chubb, and most recently, Crawford & Company. She also served as the President of the Singapore Insurance Institute, a non-profit organisation in Singapore, from 2020 to 2023. In the next few months, both Jeslyn and Jeffrey will work closely hand in hand to ensure a smooth transition. They will both report to the SRA Chair.
